Richard’s entry to motor sport opened with a successful career in karting before moving into cars. Rapid progression up the motor sport ladder meant that he went from the British Touring Car Championship and entered the international motor sport arena, racing in the Porsche Supercup; supporting Formula 1 Grand Prix events.
Following an impressive debut season in Supercup, Richard graduated to the FIA GT Championship in 2008 driving for Porsche.
In terms of his driving aspirations, Richard is keen to compete against the best drivers in the world; with the ultimate goal of racing at Le Mans.
As well as being a Lloyd’s insurance broker, Richard is also a director at Halcyon Events , who offer custom-built events at Grand Prix and other motoring events around the globe.
